Constance Barker has a long list of author credits, and I was proud to write a series for her. These sold well, some books getting to number 1 in the genre, and I could not be happier for her. This was a quirky, fun series to write and the sample is from the draft for the opening of book 1. You can still buy the books on Amazon's site.
This story was written for a contest, and the prompt stated to write a story about three sisters that takes place in the Rocky Mountains. It ended up as a very short story about the less than perfect relationship of sisters who now face the harshest test of their sibling bond.
A client had an idea and wrote a very rough draft screenplay. Then he wanted to change it into a novel. After contacting me, I took on the project and produced the book he had envisioned. WARNING: Graphic Language.
A small publishing outfit wanted guest authors for some short story ideas they had come up with. I wrote this one for them about a scientist in a world gripped by war.
This was an entry for the prompt to write a short piece on someone who finds themselves liberated and pleased by the news they will die soon. So, I wrote about a man who, after losing everything, must make a tough decision.
